Strain Description
The AMS strain, developed by Green House Seeds, is a hybrid with a genetic makeup of 40% Sativa and 60% Indica. It has a THC content of 19.05%, CBD content of 0.17%, and CBN content of 0.14%. The strain is a result of crossing a Swiss sativa with a Swiss indica. The effects of AMS are characterized by a strong high that offers both a clear-headed and introspective experience. It provides a unique taste profile that is sweet and complex. When cultivated indoors, AMS has a flowering period of around 9 weeks, which yields the highest amount of resin. However, commercial growers often harvest at around 8 weeks. The strain can produce up to 700 grams per square meter when grown indoors. For outdoor cultivation, AMS is typically ready for harvest by the end of September in the northern hemisphere. It can yield up to 800 grams per plant and is particularly suitable for humid areas due to its high resistance to mold. The plant grows tall and exhibits strong resistance to pests and fungus. AMS is known for its extreme resistance to pests and fungus, which led to its name, “Anti Mold Strain.” It also pays homage to Amsterdam City. The strains lineage originates from two old-school Swiss strains gifted to Arjan, the founder of Green House Seeds, by a close friend. The resulting hybrid boasts a delightful mix of mossy-foresty aroma and ripe red fruit flavors reminiscent of old jam. The buds are dense, compact, and covered in sticky resin, while the leaves exhibit a darker-green hue compared to some other strains. The AMS plant grows with a sturdy and robust structure. The nodes do not stretch excessively, providing good resistance to external elements like wind and animals. The branches feature strong stems capable of supporting heavy flowers during the later stages of the growing season. This strain is also well-suited for stealth cultivation, as it blends in effectively with surrounding plants. During the flowering stage, the smell of AMS intensifies, emanating a strong fragrance of overripe red fruits that fills the room. The effects of AMS are ideal for a productive and creative day of work. The high onset is rapid and powerful, but it leaves the body active and free from couchlock, allowing individuals to express themselves or continue their work without feeling overly sedated.
