Amnesia Haze is a highly regarded cannabis strain that gained recognition by winning the first prize at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2012. It is known for its complex genetic makeup, combining various Southeast Asian genetics such as Thai sticks, Cambodian, and Laotian, along with Jamaican Haze varieties and a cross of Afghani and Hawaiian genetics. The Southeast Asian genetics contribute to the strains exceptional qualities, as they were highly regarded for their unique characteristics. Jamaican Haze varieties bring a high THC percentage and a distinct flavor profile. The addition of Afghani-Hawaiian genetics helps expedite the flowering time and further enhances the strains flavor. Amnesia Haze has proven its worth by winning first place in multiple cannabis competitions in the Netherlands, including the prestigious High Times Cannabis Cup in 2004. It has remained one of the best-selling strains at Barneys Breakfast Bar, a renowned coffee shop in Amsterdam. Growing Amnesia Haze can be a bit challenging for cultivators, as it requires approximately 12 to 13 weeks to complete its flowering stage.
